Quarter Second

Description

I was standing in the water for this one. And since it was a very busy day at Bond Falls I got a lot of weird looks. 3 hour drive to get there and it was swarming with people. I lost so many photos because of a random person popping out of the woods. Anyway 1/4 second exposure processed HDR.

Please critique..

For first impression really nice piece of work.

Besides the shutter speed the focal length would be interesting here as well for my part. Especially in regards to the already mentioned strong right side.
If it is zoomed I would recommend to zoom it out more and get more of the dynamic moving water from the right. Like already mentioned it is very interesting, if not the most important part of the shot, but in your composition it is only partly shown. Pity. Shutter speed etc. looks very fine and well chosen.

What is confusing me, why HDR technique here? The HDR takes effect only partly (watersurface, the stone).

Really work on the dust spots, but you mentioned to do so keep it going!! <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)" />
